TUPE in 10 - Service Provision Changes Same Client and Fundamentally the Same Activities

TUPE is the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006, implemented into UK law in 1981. The aim of TUPE is to safeguard employees when the business changes hands or when their is a change of service provider by moving employees and their rights/liabilities) to the new employer. TUPE will only apply if their is a relevant transfer.
