London - JCT and NEC: standard forms compared
Clarkslegal LLP, 12 Henrietta Street, Covent Garden, London

From 08:00 AM to 10:30 AM on 04 October 2018

In the past 12-18 months, all of the main forms of contract including JCT and NEC have been updated. Join Richard Saxon CBE, Chair of JCT and Clarkslegal’s construction team, for a discussion on how key risks in the latest forms of standard construction contract manage key construction risks. Each of the speakers will present their considerations of the main risks and advantages of working with the forms.

Key considerations will include:

  • How do the forms differ in their treatment of delay analysis and assessment of cost?
  • What are the key risks of working under the different contracts?
  • How can you manage your risk most effectively under each form?
  • How should you give notice of variations and changes under each contract?
  • What do each of the forms say in relation to the latest developments in technology, BIM and information management?

Join us for breakfast on 4th October to discover the essential information you need to know in order to stay ahead of the competition.
