According to results from the 2nd European Opinion Poll on Occupational Safety and Health on behalf of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work, work related stress is a major concern for employees across Europe. 80% of workers taking part in the survey believe there will be an increase in the number of employees suffering from work related stress over the next five years.
According to the News Release on the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work website, these results echo "the findings of EU-OSHA’s ESENER survey on new and emerging workplace risks which found that 79% of managers think that stress is an issue in their companies, making stress at work as important as workplace accidents for companies."
