Clarkslegal was delighted to sponsor the prize for the Highest Achieving Student in Employment Law and Practice at the recent University of South Wales prize-giving ceremony for the Faculty of Business and Society.
The university hosted the prestigious ceremonies to celebrate the success of high achievers within the Faculty, which acknowledged students for their outstanding work during their studies and were attended by the winners, their families and prize sponsors.
The winner of the Highest Achieving Student in Employment Law and Practice was Ashlee Robinson, a graduate from the University`s School of Law, Accounting and Finance. Ashlee is pictured below: receiving her prize Dafydd Downes, Head of Clarkslegal`s employment team in Wales.
Dafydd congratulated Ashlee and the University on their success: "As a firm we pride ourselves in delivering quality solutions and we were therefore delighted to contribute to an event which recognises those who have achieved excellence at such an early stage in their careers. We would like to thank the University for allowing us to support this event, and we look forward to welcoming Ashlee for work experience in our Cardiff office later this year."
Students from undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses were all awarded certificates from a range of categories that included ‘Best Dissertation’ and ‘Best Overall Performance’ (to name a few) and from a variety of subjects that reside within the multidisciplinary faculty. The Faculty of Business and Society is a multidisciplinary faculty that offers a range of courses from Business to Law to English Literature.
