ACAS has published new guidance covering Challenging conversations and how to manage them.
Line management issues can be difficult for any manager to handle and if mishandled, the individual employee could raise a grievance, be signed off as unfit for work or decrease performance levels. ACAS has a video on its website which demonstrates how wrong these conversations can go.
