Green Deal: "flawed but fixable"
09 October 2013
This is the conclusion reached by the all-Party Commission of Inquiry into Sustainable Construction and the Green Deal.
The Report launched on 8 October 2013 at the House of Commons stated that the Green Deal must be reconfigured in particular to suit social housing providers and to improve energy efficiency in the growing private rented sector.
The Government must continue to play a key leadership role and engage with the construction industry in the drive towards meeting the carbon reduction targets.
