It’s been a busy year for Clarkslegal’s corporate team, with the team acting on a number of corporate transactions. The most recent to complete are:
Rodenhurst Estates Limited
Led by corporate partner, Ashan Arif, Clarkslegal successfully acted for Rodenhurst Estates Ltd on the £8.5 million acquisition of a property holding company. Property partners, Rachel Krol and Richard Higgs, supported on the property and financing aspects of the purchase. Stevens and Bolton LLP acted for the sellers and Baker and McKenzie LLP acted for the outgoing lender.
AVC Live Ltd
Clarkslegal successfully advised the selling shareholders on the sale of the Slough based technical production company, AVC Live Limited. AVC, specialising in innovative live event solutions, was acquired by a US company making a strategic investment in the UK market. Kirkland & Ellis LLP acted for the buyer.
Carillion PLC
In a series of longstanding relations with Carillion PLC, Clarkslegal’s corporate team successfully acted on behalf of the UK leading integrated support service provider on the sale of a FCA regulated subsidiary to Mears Group PLC.
Timber Expo Ltd
Clarkslegal continues to demonstrate its expertise in acting for exiting owner managers after successfully advising the shareholders of Timber Expo Limited on the sale of their shares.
Eden Motor Group
Marking the 7th acquisition for Eden Motor Group in the last 3 years, Clarkslegal successfully advised the motor dealership on their latest acquisition of the Hyundai franchise business based in Berkshire last month. The acquisition was obtained by way of an asset purchase and was led by corporate lawyer, Jon Chapman.
Eat17
Clarkslegal’s corporate team, led by Leanne Consiglio, acted for the shareholders of Eat17 Limited, on a recent corporate restructuring and multi-million pound investment. As part of its strategy to establish a greater market place in the fine foods and convenience store sector, Eat17 plan to expand beyond their current locations in Walthamstow and Hackney and open more cutting edge convenience stores and restaurants using the proceeds of the investment.
ZGRP
As part of ZGRP’s growth strategy, corporate lawyer, Leanne Consiglio led the team that advised the Wimbledon based accountancy practice on the acquisition of Solicitors First LLP, CWC resources Limited, and CWC London LLP, resulting in ZGRP becoming one of the first dual practice firms in the UK to offer full service legal and accounting services to its clients.
