We are delighted to announce the appointment of Ruth Wilkinson as partner to our market leading construction and engineering group. Ruth, who joins us from City firm CMS, has specialised in construction industry dispute resolution but has also undertaken a wide range of contract drafting and related advisory work.
Ruth's arrival is very timely with the firm's niche construction sector work continuing to grow substantially year on year, and follows on from the recent additional appointments to the group of senior solicitor Hannah Mycock and solicitor Conor Rodgers. The group acts for developers and owner/occupiers, main and specialist sub-contractors, project and design consultants and indeed some law firms who sub-contract work to us, confident in our specialist ability to provide added value to their clients and real estate teams.
In welcoming Ruth to the firm, David Rintoul as head of Clarkslegal's construction and engineering group, and which operates out of both our London and Reading offices, commented: "We and our clients will benefit hugely from Ruth's expertise and experience, strengthening as it will the depth and quality of our service offering. We have seen sustained significant growth for several years now in our work across all sectors of the industry, in advising on and documenting project procurement and delivery, together with all management of all necessary dispute resolution processes, in particular adjudication. This growth is founded on the commercial application of our specialist industry and technical knowledge, all underpinned by high quality service delivery. We thank our clients and other industry friends and colleagues for their ongoing support and we look forward to continuing to work with them and providing all necessary resource and support in order to meet their requirements."
