The CEIP is delighted to announce the launch of its latest regional hub - the Manx Cleantech Hub - managed by Browne Craine & Co in the Isle of Man.
Speaking at the official launch, CEIP Chairman Michael Sippitt explained the opportunities this latest hub will offer CEIP:
"There is a huge amount of potential in the Isle of Man. Interest in the island in cleantech is huge. The skills and experience in finance are obvious and this hub represents a great opportunity for us to link these skills with other countries of the Commonwealth. For its relative size, the Isle of Man has done a huge amount.
The Isle of Man has a great deal to contribute to sharing knowhow around cleantech and investment, which will help other smaller and vulnerable states of the Commonwealth. We will look to engage with the Isle of Man particularly in helping a very strong imperative of the Commonwealth to help the development of climate finance in small and vulnerable states.
We`re aiming to share knowledge of Commonwealth markets here in the Isle of Man and this should create more flow of trade and investment."
