BIS publishes Trade Union Membership statistics

The Department for Business Innovation and Skills (BIS) has published its Trade Union Membership 2011 report statistics, based upon data supplied by the Labour Force Survey.
This report includes estimates on the ratio of employees and workers who are trade union members, those employees whose pay and conditions are governed by collective agreements, as well as long term, country and regional trends.
The UK Statistics Authority has also published its assessment of Statistics on Trade Union Membership.
