Launch your career in law in the best way possible!
At Clarkslegal we pride ourselves in our ability to retain and progress talent, which is evidenced by the senior partners that have trained and qualified with us, such as our Chairman, Managing Partner and HR Partner, to name but a few. We are committed to investing in the future of our lawyers; we give our trainees the opportunity to thrive and grow whilst offering exceptional support to help them along the way.
The training programme we offer is unlike that of many conventional law firms. With the support of our associated companies we are able to equip our trainees with the business acumen needed to keep ahead of the game and provide additional value to clients; skills that are critical at this early stage of your career. With opportunities to contribute to business development initiatives spanning the Commonwealth to involvement in delivering multi-disciplinary solutions, no two days are the same.
If you are a hardworking, proactive, highly communicative individual with an interest in training with a dynamic Thames Valley firm with an international outlook, then your future will be bright with us. Our friendly working environment and dedicated support staff will ensure that you enjoy working with us and kick start your career in the best way possible.
Our training programme
Trainees will spend time in at least three of our four departments - Business Services, Real Estate, Construction and Dispute Resolution, where you will have access to the professional supervision you need within open plan, team-focused environment. Clarkslegal participates in the Professional Skills Course (PSC) where you will cover three core areas of business skills, advocacy and client care.
Trainees will have access to all internal training courses, seminars, networking and charity events, including our associated companies’ events where applicable. We have a dedicated Training Partner and there will be regular informal monthly reviews and six monthly formal reviews where you will be encouraged to discuss your personal development and progress.
Although we cannot guarantee a role for all trainees who have qualified we endeavour to retain exceptional talent.
