I joined Clarkslegal LLP in August 2016; I am a Solicitor specialising in business immigration law. Acting for both individuals and companies, I use my technical knowledge and expertise to provide bespoke immigration solutions and deal with exceptional cases. I provide strategic advice to major companies on immigration matters in a variety of sectors and support start ups through the sponsor licence application process and help clients to ensure immigration compliance.
I am a regular speaker at Clarkslegal’s internal and external seminars, and frequently carry out mock immigration audits and deliver client training. I am also a member of the Immigration Law Practitioners Association (ILPA), a professional association which regularly provides evidence to parliamentary and official enquiries.
I provide a high quality immigration service to multinational corporate clients and large private sector clients in a range of industry areas. I advise in respect of all business immigration issues for both employers and employees including sponsor licence applications, Tier 2 visa applications, Sole Representative visas and general compliance issues. I regularly advise clients on the prevention of illegal working through the conduct of audits to ensure compliance with legal right to work checks and immigration processes within company HR Systems.
I regularly advise high net worth clients who require bespoke UK immigration and citizenship services. I advise Investor and Entrepreneur visa clients on their eligibility and assist in the preparation of their applications and I also ensure they continue to meet the eligibility requirements by providing them tailored legal advice following the grant of their visa.
I regularly assist EEA nationals and their family members with their applications for Permanent Residence. I have a proven track record of obtaining successful results for family members and extended family members wishing to apply for family permits and residence cards.
I provide long term strategic advice to help clients obtain Indefinite Leave to Remain and subsequent British citizenship. I have extensive experience with complex applications involving excess absences that require a solution based approach often requiring the discretion by the Home Office.
I regularly advise individuals on a wide range of immigration matters, including applications for family members (spouses, fiancés, unmarried partners), applications under EU law, Ancestry visas, UK visit visas, student visas, adult dependent relative visas and visas for Turkish nationals.
My vast knowledge and experience of the UK visa system allows me to prepare properly executed applications which are successful in the first instance.
I have a wealth of experience in challenging visa refusals by way of an appeal to the First-tier/Upper Tribunal, Administrative Review or Judicial Review. I have worked on many complex cases and prepared many successful appeals which have led to the Home Office overturning their initial decision. I provide a tailored service to clients in such positions and my expertise ensures I help them find the right solution.
