Holiday pay entitlement ....continues....

Following the case of Stringer, the Tribunal in the case of Rawlings v The Direct Garage Door Company held that an employee was entitled to be paid for the holiday he had been unable to take during his period of long-term sickness absence.  Mr Rawlings` sickness absence carried though for the whole of 2005 until his termination of employment in 2006. 

In this case, the Tribunal held that there was an unauthorised deduction of wages.
