Keynote speaker Andrew Twigg of TWG Systems discussed the “Evolution of Addiction” focussing on how computer gaming has used instant real time feedback through the internet to make games more addictive resulting in some significant revenues for the big gaming companies.
Ashan Arif, Partner at Clarkslegal and director of specialist tech start-up adviser, forburyTECH said “today’s event was another success for the organisers and delegates alike. 30 odd IT SMEs from across the Thames Valley enjoyed a thought provoking discussion on computer gaming, its social impact and the quite staggering revenues achieved by some of the top computer gaming companies. The IT Forum continues to grow from strength to strength and is providing IT SMEs with a much needed platform in the Thames Valley to network and collaborate with similar businesses.”
