The Daily Mail has reported this week that Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsey`s Mother-In-Law is to sue him in the Employment Tribunal for alleged unfair dismissal, failure to make a redundancy payment, breach of contract and breaches of the working time regulations.
Greta Hutcheson was sacked from Ramsay`s restaurant empire last year, following the dismissal of father-in-law, Chris Hutcheson, which resulted in a family feud.
It has also been reported this week (in the Telegraph) that another internationally renowned chef facing Employment Tribunal proceedings being brought against him by two former employees has been granted a restricted reporting order by the London Central Employment Tribunal.
The first employee is claiming unfair dismissal, sexual discrimination and whistleblowing. The second is claiming unfair dismissal, age discrimination and unlawful deductions from wages.
The terms of the order provide for the chef to be identified only as "L" and his company as "K Ltd". The order is expected to be challenged and if the restriction is lifted Buddy will provide an update on this site.
